exist on a planet like Kepler - 186f, its
photosynthesis could have been influenced
by the star's red - wavelength photons, making for a color palette that's very different than the greens on Earth.
Existing projections suggest an increase in primary production at high latitudes such as the Arctic and the Southern Ocean (because the amount of sunlight available for
photosynthesis of phytoplankton goes up as the amount of water covered
by ice decreases).
