an existing celebrity status, but are instead «regular people» with a strong interest and passion in something specific, which make them influential and, naturally, well known.
Breeds go up and down in price based on many factors including: overall popularity or demand, specialization for specific jobs (hunting, police work, etc.), scarcity or how few dogs of the breed actually
exist, how long the breed has been in existence, whether it is a
status symbol, and finally the «C» or
celebrity factor (think Paris Hilton and micro Pomeranians).
