President Trump and Education Secretary Betsy DeVos have promised to
expand alternatives to public schools, including vouchers that allow children to attend private and religious schools with the aid of taxpayer dollars.
She has also made clear that she intends to use her platform to
expand alternatives to public schools, including charter schools, online schools and private schools that students attend with the help of public funds.
