Failure shouldn't necessarily be blamed on transfers. It's part of the reason but is not the only reasons.Other clubs which can't even buy like Arsenal have won very good trophies.Even at those times we were
in debt we had a good
team capable of winning the EPL or winng some of the smaller trophies. But we just went on trophyless. Now we are almost debt free and we are promised glory but honestly we don't even have the hope of glory. The only thing that can save us is renewal of the mind of the manager and board. That will bring a positive change. It's only insanity to keep doing the same thing and
expect different results. We have a lot to prove out there to the world because the greatness of Arsenal has really gone down
in the face of the world. They only see us as a
team with good football that's all.The world doubts us and we have a point to prove. The values of a club is as important as winning trophies. If not Arsenal wouldn't have been this
top club that people talk about everyday were it fpr only values or trophies. They go hand
in hand. However, to the world trophies are very important and that fact can not be hidden.

In the midfield, (including RWB & LWB) we have a whole bunch of tweeners... none offer the full package, none make sense in our manager's current favourite formation, except for Sead on the left and Ox on the right, and all of them have never shown any consistency for more than a heartbeat... Sead, who I'm including in this category because of our present formation, looks like a positive addition, minus his occasional brain farts, but I would rather see what he could do in a back 4 before making my mind up... Ox, who has never played better, which isn't saying much considering his largely underwhelming play in previous seasons, seems to have found a home in this new formation; unfortunately, can we really expect this oft - injured player to handle the taxing duties that come with said position over the long haul, not to mention, it looks like he has no intention of staying... Ramsey has relied on the empathy that stems from his gruesome injury years ago and the excitement that was generated a few years back when he finally seemed to put in altogether, but on the whole he has been a big disappointment (neither he nor the Ox have scored enough to warrant a regular spot)... If you
expect us to field our
top team in the coming 4 fixtures
in a week and a half it is absolute delusion at it's finest if you think we'll have anything left
in the tank at all against Spurs.
just to remind you that we are ARSENAL
top 5
team in the world, why shouldn't we
expect for more, lost to Monaco at home, ridiculous loss to the SPUDS, nail biting last minute games against bottom
teams....
I
expect Arsenal to compete on all fronts vs any
team and we currently aren't even
in the
top 4 of the EPL let alone Europe, as such we SHOULD be adjusting the squad to allow for such.
But these swing numbers are generally very low, and about what you'd
expect to
top this list this late
in the season, even after a major shakeup like the
top two
teams losing.
I get what you are saying but I just do nt see any coach who has actually watched Giroud note I said who's actually watched Giroud to pay above 20mill for him.Trust me when the time comes for him to go we ai nt gonna get a lot of cash.i also
expect him to be going to a lesser
team and not a
top team.Trust me he's really lucky to be an Arsenal player as some of our playrrs here are.I don't want to mention names because my blood boils up when I even think of them
in the
team.There are so many players
in this
team I don't rate but hey I guess I got ta keep em to myself.Sadly Giroud is one of them. It's not like I hate or I refuse to see the light but it's just that my eyes are telling me he's average when I watch him.So if anything please blame my eyes.
It is not OK to simply be supportive
in good times, but it is hugely necessary to help the
team get through a slump or a bad time, and you can't
expect another invincible year with the strength of England's
top division currently.
As I said before, it all depends on what you
expect from your Arsenal; if FA, Eurupa,
top 4
in PL is what you are looking for, then yes our
team with Wenger can definitely do this....
this season was supposed to be about the epl not fourth place.just seeing how empty the Emirates was yesterday I
expect it to be even worse
in the upcoming games.wenger blew it
in the transfer market, I think that
in itself shows how we lacked ambition and we settled for a
top four from the beginning and if by a chance we managed to win epl then thats it.lossing some games, crucial points and the feedback we got back was just covering the real goals of the club
top four.soton home (a
team challenging has to win this game), Crystal palace, swansea, just add those points and see where we could and should hve been.everyone here is a die hard arsenal fan whether an akb or aob but fact remains we love the club, we want the club to move forward, we want the club to be a superhouse, its got nothing to do with wengers last year or his last chance of epl.this sort of thinking is running our beloved club to the ground.whether u like it or not a change is needed and a serious one.at the moment we hve so many bogey
teams do u think arsene will beat them nxt season!!!
any
team with flaming arteta mert and monreal cant
expect to finish
in top 4... slow lateral and vulnerable
Let's hope the boss will retain him
in his next season 1st
team squad as he is widely
expected to sign a
top quality striker for option and gives Olivier Giroud competition for his game.
WTF??? One good game against a
top team in 5 yrs and you
expect everyone to forget the bizarre way Wenger has been running the club?
Whilst all other
teams strengthen their ranks and at least attempt to make an effort to win things, we are told to
expect only challenge for a
top 4th position, and then
expected to celebrate as if we won the league or champions league... Each year we tend horde our dead - wood / dead - weight who earn too much money for their return
in this current climate.
We should not
expect too much from the
team aganist sunderland
in the weekend, the
team is not playing like a
top class
team so so disappointed.
Can you
expect a hatrick from Giroud against a
team like Norwich City
in a game to determine if we made
top 4?
And with Swansea being the first of three EPL matches against
teams currently
in the bottom five, Arsenal fans can reasonably
expect to be at least challenging for
top spot by the end of the month.
After pen to paper is done its business as usual back to 4 -5-1 Giroud up
top Holding benched, come March the excuses we didn't
expect Cazorla to still be out Koscielnys red card was harsh Europa league is tougher than we
expected the players are fatigued after a return to form
in mid April I believe this
team has unbelievable mental strength we have an fa cup final to play 18 other club would love to be
in our position judge me at the end of the season.
I don't think one
team will be able to dominate the EPL as United did
in the past,
teams will continue
topping each other because I also
expect a different Chelsea, Man U and Lpool next season, its up to Arsenal to keep up.
In the interim will be upsets, near upsets and glorious goal line stands; but when the smoke of battle is cleared by December's chilling winds I
expect the 11
teams which I have chosen to be at or near the
top.
Listen its simple as ABC i remember the man utd match as soon as we moved Ramsey
top his best position the match changed for us and we were
in the driving seat yet peeps will deny.Ozil and Cazorla i am still thinking of how any other manager will put them
in the same
team, and it will work long term. This is not right. From what you are saying too we might as well sell Ramsey to a
top team which will play him
in his position and i also
expect him to be less i njury prone and eventually becoming world class. Its so simple this thing i can tell you will not work forever yet keep denying.Ozil and Cazorla
in the same
team a big no.I want Cazorla
in his best position and that is no 10.

The England international is absolutely stealing a living with a goals tally that you'd
expect most
top strikers to hit
in a single season, but one that he's notched up over the course of eight when he's been a first -
team regular.
Nothing like one underachiever blowing smoke up the ass of another... we know that Ozil has some incredible technical gifts, but to be considered the best you have to bring more than just assists to the table... for me, a
top player has to possess a more well - rounded game, which doesn't mean they need to be a beast on both ends of the pitch, but they must have the ability to take their game to another level when it matters most... although he amassed some record - like stats early on, it set the bar too high, so when people
expected him to duplicate those numbers each year the pressure seemed to get the best of our soft - spoken star... obviously that's not an excuse for what has happened
in the meantime, but it's important to make note of a few things: (1) his best year was a transition year for many of the traditionally dominant
teams in the EPL, so that clearly made the numbers appear better than they actually were and (2) Wenger's system, or lack thereof, didn't do him any favours; by playing him out of position and by not acquiring world - class striker and / or right - side forward that would best fit an Ozil - centered offensive scheme certainly hurt his chances to repeat his earlier peformances, (3) the loss of Cazorla, who took a lot of pressure off Ozil
in the midfield and was highly efficient when it came to getting him the ball
in space, negatively impacted his effectiveness and (4) he likewise missed a good chunk of games and frankly never looked himself when he eventually returned to the field... overall the Ozil experiment has had mixed reviews and rightfully so, but I do have some empathy for the man because he has always carried himself the same way, whether for Real or the German National
team, yet he has only suffered any lengthy down periods with Arsenal... to me that goes directly to this club's inability to surround him with the necessary players to succeed, especially for someone who is a pass first type of player; as such, this simply highlights our club's ineffective and antiquated transfer policies... frankly I'm disappointed
in both Ozil and our management
team for not stepping up when it counted because they had a chance to do something special, but they didn't have it
in them... there is no one that better exemplifies our recent history than Ozil, brief moments of greatness undercut by long periods of disappointing play, only made worse by his mopey posturing like a younger slightly less awkward Wenger... what a terribly waste
If nothing else, that 22nd pick gives the
team an opportunity to grab that one highly touted prospect that's
expected to go
in the
top 10ish range but inexplicably falls into the bottom third of the first round.
Why the media got it for Arsenal, we bottle some games we are
expected to win, proving some pundits that hates the club right time after time, games are not comfortably won, last season we had a better away record than home, We have an overall poor result against the big
teams for the past 5 years, we haven't won the league for 12 years now, we haven't made a proper challenge
in Europe for 10 years and on
top of it we have an Owner who doesn't care about football, just the money he makes, so many reasons.
We need a new striker... Cazorla who actually plays alongside Giroud (not like some obsessed guys here who've never played football
expect in play - station) emphasized these... OOOhhh, have you heard city, madrid, bayern, etc players asking for strikers???... i bet no... so for only that reason
in particular (God i have so many) i think we should spend on a
top quality forward... 11-16-14 — Van pussy scored that
in a single season just that we had a crappy
team in general that time... we would have won the league if we had the
team we have now
I don't always
expect us to beat
teams like City and Chelsea, but if you look at history and stats, out of the
top current six
teams in the PL vs each other, we have the worst stats and least wins.
You can't
expect a
team that finished 5th 18 points off the champions to just add 2 players for which I have great expectations but aren't even
top 5
in the world let alone the EPL and keep the same
team virtually to transfigure this squad and change its fate.
Even though Alexis Sanchez has just returned to north London after an energy sapping return trip to South America where he played one home game for Chile and the other World Cup qualifier
in Bolivia, you would
expect Arsene Wenger
top make the striker one of the first names on the
team list to face AFC Bournemouth at the Emirates stadium this weekend.

in» 99 — but first - year Cleveland coach Dan Hughes doesn't

top team.
