ereading aspects of the Kindle Fire to be so vanilla.

expect Amazon to focus
on the boring old market of
eReaders?

ereader device

expects to make an announcement
on May 24, 2011 regarding the launch of a new
eReader device,» the company said, without elaborating.
So the big news this past week is that Amazon sent out invites to a press conference
on September 6th where they are
expected to unveil new Kindle
ereaders and tablets.
Making a recommendation was more difficult than you might
expect, given that I am indie published myself, belong to a writer's group of 25 indie authors, and have copious amounts of indie books
on my
ereader.
We
expect this Kindle
ereader to be unveiled
on September 6th.
The email I received from a colleague who had given her 95 year old mother a Nook and was requesting the loan period
on ebooks be increased to 28 days because her mom couldn't finish a book in less than that (and 28 days is the standard loan period for a print book at that library) told me that
ereaders were in the hands of a population that no one
expected.
That fee is a bit lower than we've seen in the past, but don't
expect consumers to be happy with the fact that they have to pay to remove ads from a tablet — it's one thing when ads are displayed
