experience system; characters gain growth
points which can be allocated
to improve
certain stats and level
up as you progress through the story and build your relationships with the other characters, rather than through combat.
Each stage completion and bonus objective completion gives a player a
certain amount of
experience points that can be used
to level
up the character.
As you start
up you choose from 8 different characters and you head into the game trying
to find a specific item while you have
certain «not so important» items which if you collect adds additional
experience points to your character when you finish a level.
Much like any RPG, gaining enough
experience will award a level
up giving you
points to add
to certain areas of your character such as strength or magic.
