This seminar will
explore the concepts of climate and Earth
system sensitivity, the methods and records of paleo - temperature and paleo - carbon dioxide proxies in the Cenozoic, and the statistical challenges of inferring
sensitivities from these proxies.
This
sensitivity develops when young people and adults have opportunities to: look closely and reflect on the design of objects and
systems,
explore the complexity of design, and understand themselves as designers of their worlds.
My colleagues and I are continuing to
explore sensitivities to choices made in estimating such PDFs of climate
system properties given their importance in understanding potential risks of future climate change.

sensitivity of the climate
system to atmospheric chemical composition with emphasis on connections to biosphereic processes and feedbacks
