Although children with this disorder generally have normal
language skills, there may occasionally be an associated Communication Disorder (e.g., Phonological Disorder,
Expressive Language Disorder, or Mixed Receptive -
Expressive Language Disorder) or a general medical condition that causes
abnormalities of articulation.
