Power from the 5.0 - liter V8 is smooth and adequate to roll around town and merge
into expressway traffic with the six - speed ZF automatic transmission performing quick and smooth shifts — typical for a ZF gearbox.
It's probably a little more sporty than other SUVs in the class, but combined with the sharp steering, it's perfect for dicing up
expressway traffic, and there's very little body roll.
Neither merging with
expressway traffic nor cruising the interstate with a full load is a problem.
No surprise there's more than enough power to blend in seamlessly with
expressway traffic or slingshot away in a brisk manner from a stoplight.
Of course, it's not an NHRA dragster, but giddy up is sufficient to blend in with
expressway traffic and get off the line in a brisk manner when needed.
