While a vast majority of shelters (320) were found to be in adequate condition, DiNapoli's office
still found issues at those shelters that included mold at 51 locations, vermin at seven locations, missing or uninspected fire
extinguishers in 26 locations, and an unsafe physical environment in 21 locations.
