As a nice bonus, many casual commuters likely won't even notice the horsepower dearth without a side - by - side drive, and will appreciate
the extra miles per gallon between trips to the pump.
The same four - cylinder engine is coupled with an electric motor and this combination should gain a few more horsepower and few

That shouldn't be too difficult to accomplish, either, as we've seen automakers squeeze a few

It would take a while for the Hybrid's

With an EPA fuel rating of 23
miles per gallon combined, the

miles over the gas engine could mean the difference between making it back to base camp or not.
And you won't pay for the
extra sound and fury in mileage, as the JCW Clubman achieves similar fuel economy, at 23
miles per gallon city and 31 mpg highway, as the standard Clubman all - wheel - drive models.
For 2009, buyers will be given an
extra incentive to park a Durango in their driveway when a hybrid version of the HEMI engine is installed in the SUV to improve fuel economy and emissions to 19
miles per gallon in the city and 20
miles per gallon on the highway.
But the
extra performance drops the gas mileage down to 34

Going for the longer L2 model has no effect on fuel economy but the weight of the
