I love stirring in manuka honey,
slices of
banana and ground cinnamon as they all totally melt into the buckwheat to make it so amazingly sweet and creamy, I then add almond milk for
extra creaminess before stirring in some almond butter and baobab at the end.
Topped with fresh blueberries, walnut pieces,
sliced banana, strawberries and a little
extra maple syrup they are just divine.
If you're decorating it, thinly
slice the
extra half
banana lengthways and gently press the
slices across the top of the bread.
I took a frozen
banana out of the freezer (we save for smoothies when they get to dark to eat fresh) put a
slice of
banana on each cookie and then baked for 9 minutes (I cooked 1
extra minute in my oven because of the
banana)
When ready to serve, spoon the mixture into a breakfast / serving bowl and top with some
