Edgar Allan may appear crazy at times when I take him on walks due to his excitability but, he is actually
an extremely calm dog when we are home.

We have produced multiple EXCELLENT service
dogs out of our litters, 2 Out of my current litter alone:) They are incredibly loyal, smart and even tempered,
extremely calm and large which are ideal in a service
dog.
The shelter
dogs generally need some fine tuning and I and my staff are
extremely adept at meeting out
calm energy, stability and manners — in a gentle way.
With their larger than life personalities and long, flowing hair, Maltese
dogs are
calm, sweet, and
extremely loyal.
Galgos are
extremely gentle and
calm; get on fantastically with young children, other
dogs, and even cats; and would like nothing more than spend the whole day lazing around on a comfy sofa.
Sophie is probably the
calmest dog I have ever had and she is going to make an
EXTREMELY good Therapy
dog.
I just started writing a response about similar experiences I have had, but my tips were just about ways I've controlled the reactivity (working on
calm obedience in the doorway, using
extremely valuable treats for working on «watch me» etc.) I haven't thought about how to get the
dog to think differently about the hallway being an extension of the apartment.
This
dog is strong, powerful, and
extremely calm and loyal.
