There are a number of reasons for poor nutrition, these can include: not feeding a dog enough food, feeding
an extremely poor quality food or food not intended for canine consumption, food intolerance or a food allergy.
Four dogs were chained outside without adequate
food, water, or shelter and approximately 18 were inside the house that had
extremely poor air
quality due to high ammonia levels; the floor was plywood subflooring soaked with urine, causing dangerously high ammonia levels irritating to the eyes, nose, and throat.
