A few other things that can save a little $ while being eco-friendly is using white vinegar in the rinse cycle
as fabric softner.
Do not under any circumstance
use fabric softner as this causes the fabric to be coated and thus repels moisture.
It makes my clothes smell SOOOOO Good and along with the
downy fabric softner it will smell even better.
I also make my own dishwasher liquid, laundry detergent, and
fabric softner.
Carpet cleaning remedies, wood polishes,
fabric softner, laundry detergent, scouring powder and much, much more.
You could also put used fabric sheets in there as they come out of the dryer or install
that fabric softner bar that goes in the dryer.
We've been using vinegar as
a fabric softner for well over a year now and it's helped with my son's eczema.
I needed
a fabric softner.
I like vinegar as
a fabric softner but the only thing I battle with is my bath towels.
