I found that the stuffing / filling at Wal - Mart
here in Canada was actually more expensive than at the local
fabric store, so Canadians, do shop around!
I might have bought a dark grey or camel coloured coat
here and there, but mostly my coat - quest has been about scouring
stores and websites to find the season's perfect black coat... good quality luxurious
fabric, the right weight, excellent stylish lapels, the right length, and most importantly, one that works as well open as closed.

fabric store.
I hope I can somehow send my
fabric to the Savannah
store so they can monogram it and have my reupholsterer
here do it!

Here I used a large white
fabric remnant from the thrift
store.
Now blue
fabric panels conceal items
stored here.
My inspiration finally struck though because of a summer party and the tray's original purpose:) I wanted to make it versatile though - so I found some different
fabrics I had and settled on the black and white I was given by the Online
Fabric Store last year at the Haven conference (you can read about that
here).
