practices are a big deal,
what should you look for in a supplement?
Yet, even though I know I will get a lot of wear out of both items, I want to

In

what we know, federal accountability provisions will complement the most successful state
practices.

What, and How of School, Family, and Community Partnerships], I would still be unaware of the
fact that there is a whole field dedicated to fostering partnerships between schools, families, and communities; to researching the processes underlying those partnerships; and to promoting the best, most collaborative (and most accountable)
practices.

practice looks like is very helpful but upscaling is the big challenge — how do you get a quality teacher in every classroom?
And so one of the things that our group is doing right now is we're engaging with teachers from all around the country, in
fact all around the world, to try to learn from them
what they're doing in their own classroom
practice to instill a growth mindset in their students and to help students see intelligence, and to see their academic ability, as things that they can grow.
