Reasoning with
people of
faith is more tricky
than the happiness one finds by abandoning their own
faith in
religious delusion.
People born into any given
religious faith — Christian, Muslim, Hindu, etc, etc, etc — have probably actually contributed to the scientific research and understanding
than you that led to that science journal you copied and pasted from.

person differently; a Jesus who had no list of beliefs to check off, no doctrinal statements to sign, no surefire way to tell who was «in» and who was «out»; a Jesus who loved after being betrayed, healed after being hurt, and forgave while being nailed to a tree; a Jesus who asked his disciples to do the same...
That is an ancient doctrine of the
faith, but too often today
people shy away from it and try to mitigate the revealed truth that a
religious vocation is more perfect
than any secular life can be.
And that means you are someone who is easily swayed to believe something... way more
than any other
religious person who at least require a basis for their
faith.
This in your face I'm better
than you because I'm a Christian who uses the term The Lord Jesus Christ blah blah blah and so on are killing our
faith in a world where
people are more laid back and want nothing to do with some snake oil
religious sales

faith is strong in most
religious people, but i have been told that i am more christ like

Science has shown atheists have a higher intelligence

faith, you have
faith that there is no god (s), you can't prove your point more
than religious people can prove theirs, so there is no facts, no proof either way.
People can be disposedto believe things on the ground that they are things which Christ said or which the Church teaches, and this could be called

religious faith seems to be something more
than this and prior to it; it is through having it that we are disposed to believe Christ and the Church.

religious person, but if he has the balls to display his
faith like he does in front of millions of viewers and never says a single negative thing about any of the horrible things that
people say about him or his
faith, then he is more of a man

Gil you have asked some very good questions why does bad things happen in the world i personally do nt know God did nt explain to Job either why he had to suffer.What i do know is that God desires that none of us should perish but that all would have eternal life in him through Jesus Christ.This world will one day pass away and the real world will be reborn so our focus as christians is on whats to come and being a witness in the here and now.Both good and bad happens to either the righteous or the sinner so what are we to make of that.What we do know is that God will set all things right at the appointed time the wicked will be judged and the righteous will be rewarded for there
