fake —
planted specifically to render a data dump confusing, if not useless, since it would take a tremendous amount of time for reporters and citizen journalists to sort out the real from the
fake.
Using the Clinton and Palin emails, the research team
created fake emails and
planted certain signals, such as
fake names, repetitive sentences and «incoherent flow.»
