They aren't meant to be spent getting sweaty digging through bins and bins of decorations or frustrated at the craft store because you can't find just the right color
of fake pumpkins.
Last, I added a two more
fake pumpkins from Dollar Tree that I painted white and stained with dark wax to the fern on the other side of the front doors!
Inspiration in mind I headed to Michael's and
found fake pumpkins on sale at Michael's, spray painted it copper and attached a sparkly monogram over the top (also found on sale at Michael's).
In our house we use a lot of faux leaf garlands,
fun fake pumpkins, and wheat sheaves from the craft store in vases.
In her tutorial Elsie Marley has sensibly used
a fake pumpkin and poked holes using a bamboo skewer.
