Jonny, Here's the real question: Which travel blogs out there right now are fakes?
Of course if the fake travel blog is from a real travel blogger who also has a decent real travel blog, then that's OK
Sponsored posts and press trips are OK as long as they are on REAL travel blogs, once they start appearing on these fake ones, then I agree they are just people trying to make money from pretending to travel.
I write full time while also running other niche travel sites and working online so I'm a busy travel writer and I also travel more than most other travel writers — there are lots of fake travel blogs out there — mine is real!
To be honest though, this blog is only turning into a haven for conspiracy theorists and people who are convinced that all the «real» science is being suppressed, and all the «fake» science is computer model garbage that is being pushed on us by the dogma.
It is troubling, however, to realize that there are fake lawyer blogs and Twitter accounts out there that some innocent person could take as real.
