The field of candidates for local office in
the fall election gained two entrants in the past week, as former Woodstock councilwoman Terrie Rosenblum announced that she would run for town supervisor and current Town Board member Bill McKenna declared that he would seek another term on the board.

At last year's general
election the party
fell short of
gaining the sort of Leave - voting Labour seats they needed for a majority.

fallen so far since 2010 that it can reasonably hope for
gains in the Scottish Parliament and Welsh Assembly

election bringing more Democratic voters to the polls and aiding down - ballot races along the way.
