fallen here in Wisconsin
so I don't feel to weird about already decorating my Christmas
Mantel.
I needed something massive for my empty dining room wall
so I took a natural grapevine wreath I had stored away from a
Fall Shoot and created this wreath using an assortment of evergreens and similar to how I decorated the fireplace
mantel, I inserted a few roses and football mums along the bottom of the wreath.
After seeing
so many cute decorations and pumpkins on
so many of our neighbors porches, I was finally bitten by the
fall decorating bug and decided to give our
mantel a little spiffing up.

so it's tough to find things to give visual interest that don't look like they are ready to
fall off.

I put roosters on my
Mantel for
Fall, but not exactly what I want,
so will be changing it.
I love to decorate for
fall, but this year I loved my summer
mantel so much that I keep procrastinating the change.
If I were to repeat this
mantel and hearth again, I think I'd try switching the two items on the hearth
so that I don't have the tall
fall leaf branches directly above the tall tree sticks in the basket.

so today it seemed fitting to share a
fall living room tour.
So, I decided to start with the
fall mantel.
This past
fall, I shared the reveal for our One Room Challenge living room makeover, and was getting
so many questions about the fireplace
mantel and how we got the look.
So I actually create 2
mantels... one for early
fall and one for late
fall.
My husband came home and said this was by far his favorite
Fall mantel to date (we have only been in a house with a fireplace 2 years
so that's not saying much, but still.)
Fall is already here, and if you haven't yet done
