I pack light when we travel to Europe in the
fall with black, gray and burgundy neutrals: 1 black knee length
dress, 1 dark denim skinny jean, 1 EF knit straight pant, leggings, tights, silk underwear, smart wool socks, 1 pr thick cushioned ankle socks (double as slippers in the airbnb apartments), compression socks, 1 pair ankle boots (Try English made Hotter boots for
out of this world comfort and European chic!)
It's still a bit hot here in NYC, but I've started pulling
out some
of my lighter
fall jackets like this one to layer over silk
dresses and skirts.
The loose midi
dress came
out of a need for comfort and everything else just
fell in with that theme.

I find myself scooping up deeply discounted
dresses to wear these last weeks
of summer (just ordered this one to try), while wish - listing beautiful
fall items that are
out of my price range (like this gorgeous coat).
I love a good long sleeve

fall and winter, and a wedding or
of course any holiday - related celebration is the perfect time to break
out a pretty long sleeve midi
dress like the under - $ 40 one I have on here from H&M!
Its just one
of those
dresses that nothing
falls out, you don't really have to hold your stomach in, and sweaty dancing pits don't show up.
