All the
falling leaves and a minor sniffle got me thinking about comforting soups, which are the best answer to being
under the
weather or any general cravings for warming, healing food.

First, modification of individual hurricanes would
fall under the topic of
weather modification, rather than climate geoengineering; and second, there is not nearly as much research on [hurricane modification] as on the possible effects of climate geoengineering on slowing the melting of ice sheets.
And the highly elite driven system humankind is
under isn't intending to change anything any time soon and when pressure
falls on the basic necessities and the
weather ravages homes and crops, more wars and migrants are inevitable.
The Polar bears stubbornly refuse to go extinct, indeed the buggers are thriving, the glaciers don't appear to be disappearing, sea levels have stayed boringly level, we haven't been subsumed by hordes of desperate climate refugees, the polar ice caps haven't melted, the Great Barrier Reef is still with us, we haven't fought any resource wars, oil hasn't run out, the seas insist on not getting acidic, the rainforest is still around, islands have not sunk
under the sea, the ozone holes haven't got bigger, the world hasn't entered a new ice age, acid rain appears to have
fallen somewhere that can't quite be located, the Gulf Stream hasn't stopped, extreme
weather events have been embarrassingly sparse in recent years and guess what?
Violent
weather, wayward animals,
falling objects, and flying projectiles — each of these incidents can be every bit as damaging, yet they are not covered
under a traditional collision insurance policy.
My favorite things about
fall — definitely the cooler
weather (I sleep better); golden landscapes; rewards of harvest; sitting next to the fire pit
under a blanket; and just that overall feeling cozy at home.
During the
fall season the
weather is crisp and makes you want to spend more time in your bedroom keeping cozy and warm
under the covers.
