Last year I bought almost all
my fall work clothes at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.
And while I stocked up on
fall work clothes during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, I can't justify wearing a long - sleeve wool dress in 90 - degree - 100 % - humidity weather.

That often meant banging out my reps in my pajamas, after my little guy finally
fell asleep — or in my
work clothes, just before he woke up.
Unfortunately, this makes it easy to
fall into the mindset that you can't
work out because your
clothes aren't clean.
Since I unpacked my
fall / winter
clothes, my faux leather pants from last season were waiting for me for a new debut, so I thought it was the perfect occasion to wear them with a fun striped top, a bright purple as the pop of color, and my animal print pumps that
works as neutrals in these color combo.
It's still summer outside, it's freezing at
work in the AC and I'm ready for cozy
fall clothes.
I recently
fell in love with buying vintage
clothes because I am a fan of decades that have gone by - the glamour of the 50s, the decadence of the 70s... however I am still
working on my vintage style.
I'll talk more about this on Friday, but a quick tips: Summer is the perfect time to embrace colors as you're not
working as many layers of
clothes as you do for winter /
fall.
