of familiar gadgetry — on which Aardman's comic brand is built.
I think they should have taken elements
of both previous
films and then thrown in some new story arcs for a
familiar but ultimately new
kind of sci - fi adventure.

kind of astonishing that there hasn't been a
film quite like Liam Gavin's A Dark Song yet — it's a premise so simple and
familiar that the genre has done it countless times, just not quite like this.
It's an honest, but simplistic line — and that
kind of sums up this well - intentioned but all too
