I value my
family's
need for flavorful meals over dried - out, tasteless food that I nuked just to check off a
chore.
Chores need to be seen as contributing to the
family, regardless of any monetary reward.
But don't confuse this with their basic
chores — kids also
need to understand you don't get paid for duties that are part of being in a
family.
They
need to be involved in
family life and to accompany you on your day to day errands and
chores.
Add up the expense of replacing these
chores and consider the financial impact when deciding if there is a
need to insure a spouse's contribution to the
family.
