There's enough action, intrigue and drama to convince adults that it's «a serious movie well worth your
time» but in reality, it's a
film for the whole
family, and for many, watching it together has become something
of a rite
of passage.

I am a fun, caring and an easy going person I love spending
time with
family and friends, I love all types
of music and a wide genre
of films but I am an ultimate Harry Potter fan.
In a handful
of simple, uplifting images that include the ritual immersion
of a mikveh and the acquisition
of a more imposing new wardrobe, the
film leaves us with the impression
of a man taking the necessary steps to make himself whole again, and perhaps in
time his
family, too.
I get that they wanted to show the passage
of time for Nick, from joining the
family to rising through the ranks, even though he remains at the same level until, like, the last 27 minutes
of the

film accurately delineates a 1950's midwestern
family, and viscerally captures the everyday, unplanned, mundane life
of the
time: rough - housing, pre-adolescent boys playing in the grass with their dogs, wrestling in the tall grass pastures, mothers watching intently, arms - crossed to the discretion
of their children outside a window, fathers kissing their children and wives on the cheek, brief - case in hand, before a long day's work at the plant, and the aestival sun browning the faces and arms
of all under its path.

time, it has a race role reversal, where the original
film was about a white
family meeting a black man, this
film centers around a black
family meeting a white man.

of set designer Mark Frienberg, who spent

The conclusion transforms at least this part
of the
film from sappy romance to beautifully authentic meditation on life, death and a

of all backgrounds wearing clothing that celebrates their heritage, taking pictures next to our posters with their friends and
family, and sometimes dancing in the lobbies
of theaters — often moved me and my wife to tears...»
