I can say that it is a fact that raised right
family pit bulls attack unprovoked and with out warning every year.
If they reported «A child walks into a yard of an abused dog and gets bit» they won't get as much of a reaction if they say «
A family Pit Bull attacked a child unprovoked».
As we sit here, a toddler was mauled over the weekend by pit mixes, a couple months back
a family pit bull attack and killed a 3 day old infant simply from crying, do you hear of retrievers, or even Rottweilers, doing this damage?

attack they just get quarantined for a while where as a
pit bull who isn't as high up on the aggressive list as a lot of household
family dogs, they would get shot on spot.
