If anyone else is feeling the same way here is the changes I made to the recipe: I put a heaped teaspoon each of the turmeric and cumin, 1 / 8th of a teaspoon of Cayenne pepper (I would have put a 1/4 or 1/2 teaspoon, but my family doesn't like spice so I reduced the cayenne quite a bit.)
It's difficult being the only veggie in the family but I will have to incorporate one or two of your recipes into my meal, and possibly make extra so the rest of the family can see what they're missing out on!
