It really baffles me sometimes how
fans like you portray Wenger and at the
end I feel the
day ya'all forget that Wenger is an employee of Arsenal and he's now bigger than the club, yes he's a legend and he deserves a statue but at the same time that is Arsenal's downfall because Wenger has too much control over the club and he shouldn't be allowed to make some decisions on like players to buy or the amount of money to spend, he has to just focus on football and only football alone.

That is because
fans are now weary and accustomed to our club ALWAYS coming up short,
fans are tired of the feeling of groundhog
day you get with Arsenal... from the perpetual never
ending injury nightmares, to the frustrations of losing games we have no business even drawing, to the inevitable underwhelming transfer dealings etc... if there is anything more frustrating it's
fans who think their unbridled and borderline delusional belief in the club is enough to win us things, conveniently forgetting that in life you get what you put in and pure luck cam only take you so far....

In other news, our team seems to be rounding nicely into form, with a productive off - season and several new additions already settling in, there seems to be a renewed sense of confidence in the air... our well - oiled machine has conducted business again early this year, so we can just sit back, kick our feet up and watch all those other suckers scramble to make panic moves in the 11th hour... of course, we need to tie up a few loose
ends but our team of savvy negotiators, under the tutelage of our faithful leader, will perform their usual magic with ample time to spare... I have to laugh when I look around the soccer world and see all those teams look upon us with envy and scorn as they struggle to mimic our seemingly infallible business model... thank goodness the powers that be had the foresight and fortitude to resist the temptations of the modern football era... instead of listening to all the experts and simply taking the easy way out by making the necessary improvements on the field and in the front office, we chose the path never traveled... we are truly pioneers in our field... sometimes you just have to have faith in the people that have always conducted themselves in a respectful and honest fashion... most
fans aren't so fortunate, they will never know what it's like to follow a team that treats everyone in and around the club as if they were an extended member of the family... all for one I say... so when you wake up this morning, please try not to gloat when you see rival
fans pacing back and forth waiting for their respective teams to pull the usual panic buys, just say nothing and be thankful that it isn't you... like I've always said, this is why you stay the course... this is when the real benefits of having someone in charge for over 2 decades really pays off... have a great
day fellow Gunners

fans, the season is over for another year and it actually turned out to be a reasonably happy

Also Jon, while we're talking about Riley, a former referee, famous for
ending the Invincibles 49 match unbeaten run by awarding a disgraceful penalty against Sol Campbell after a Wayne Rooney dive and for also giving 11 penalties in 11 games to Ruud van Nistelroy in the

Until we cease to buy our season tickets, which for many is akin to taking out a second mortgage, the ludicrous salaries paid to players and Managers will continue to increase. With regard to the present crop of Arsenal players some may lack the guts and determination of the ex players you mention but at the
end of the
day the problem at the club now is a lack of quality particularly through the spine of the team.Virtually all our
fans recognise the need for quality in Goal, at Centre Back and DM.Unfortunately the one man who is in a position to do something about it does not seem to agree with us.
IF you were a true supporter of ARSENAL and followed the
day to
day running and goings on within the Club you might just have noticed we haven't been having the best of seasons. In fact this has been going on now for quite a few seasons. In fact this has been just why the supporters (in the very vast majority) totally blame the Manager. In case you are not familiar with him his name is Arsene Wenger. He is i believe totally to blame for our current plight with more than a little assistance from the Owner and the Board. The
fan base is NOT as divided as you may believe.I don't believe there is ANY SUPPORTER who wishes him to continue. Some want it NOW meaning this morning some want it at the
end of the season.A very few wish him to go with his reputation intact at the
end of next season when his contract is up.Can I just add this really is a very few in number.
* in second wonderboy fight I get that it was too tactical for the average

At the same time as most Arsenal
fans are now thoroughly fed up and most agree that the club were wrong to hand Arsene Wenger a new contract at the
end of last season, with the
fans who actually think the Frenchman is still the best man for the job dwindling by the
day, I do not think that our long serving manager should take all the blame for the sorry state that Arsenal find ourselves in.
They got over excited about Ozil, I had watched him play from his Bremen and Schalke
days where he played mostly as a winger, his personality looked tired, slow, etc, we were linked with him so closely but I had a feeling his personality and physicality would struggle in the hustle and bustle of the EPL, he
ended up at Madrid, I watched him having lots of 50/50 games, frustrating Madrid
fans who used to call him lazy and would say he went missing in every single big game.
