I am a big

The time he devotes to it makes you wonder, especially since none
of his very visible promotion gives
readers who aren't already
fans any reason to seek
out his books.
Another example
of such mavens is the
reader who hangs

fan fiction sites.
You'll grow a group
of readers who will turn into
fans and they'll be the ones bringing up your book when a call is put
out for a good read.
But we continue to receive
fan letters begging us to continue the series that our publishers abandoned (or to help
readers find
out of print books... which used to be a rather heartbreaking mission for most
of us).
The self - publishing revolution has made it possible for authors to bring their moribund

of - print titles back to life by repackaging and in some cases revising the contents for major sales to old
fans and new
readers.
