Further investigation revealed that restricting feeding time to 8 - 12 hours a day, resulted in mice that had
less body fat, improved
muscle mass, decreased inflammation, increased cardiovascular function, increased mitochondrial function, higher levels of ketone body production, increased cellular repair processes and anti-oxidant production, and increased aerobic endurance.
