fast as it is beautiful, the Droid RAZR Maxx HD boasts a 1.5 - GHz dual - core Snapdragon S4 processor and 1 GB of RAM - more than enough to make the RAZR Maxx HD fly on our
synthetic benchmarks and in everyday use.
On Geekbench 3, a
synthetic benchmark that measures overall system performance, the Yoga Tablet 10 HD + scored a weak 1,483, well below the 2,211 tablet category average and about half as
fast as the Nvidia Tegra 4 - powered Transformer Pad TF701T (2,712), the Exynos 5 - enabled Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 (2,776) and the Snapdragon 801 - powered Sony Xperia Z2 (2,685).
Nobody buys a $ 1K phone to run useless
synthetic benchmarks that claim it's
faster than PC CPUs.
That said, the 1.8 GHz Snapdragon is still plenty
fast, and comes close to matching the Galaxy S7 on
synthetic benchmarks.
While the Surface Pro's
synthetic benchmark scores were a bit less than our comparison systems, real - world performance was more than
fast enough.
