Loading up on carbs &
fats rather than protein can
be an
easy thing to do when you
're not eating meat, but with a little planning you can switch
things up.
The meal options I came up with had to
be: # 1
things that would
be fairly
easy to prepare (I wasn't about to take an extra hour on Sunday to make something elaborate), # 2 had to
be foods I could easily manipulate the nutritional profile for (ensuring a balance of protein, carbs, and
fat), # 3 the food had to store well in the fridge or freezer, # 4 they had to reheat well in either the toaster or microwave OR
be eaten cold right from the fridge, and # 5 ideally, they needed to
be things she could easily eat in the car on the way to school (remember, it takes us at least 20 minutes with no traffic to get to school so eating in the car gives us even MORE time to sleep lol).

fats that will nourish your body, not confuse it!
The hardest
thing I encountered
was finding
easy keto recipes that would not only satisfy me but also high in
fat.
For some companies, the taste of their protein
is the only
thing they have going for them, so they load up their protein formulas with cheap proteins that
are easy to flavor, and then chase that with a load of flavoring in the form of sugar, carbs and
fat.
With traditional cookouts carbohydrates
are probably the
easiest thing to overdo, and a surplus will end up stored in your
fat cells unless you bump up your activity level to burn them off.

's culture obsessed with thin bodies, it

easy to see body
fat as a bad

Shopping for groceries as a vegan

thing, but try ordering something at a restaurant that
's not cooked in animal
fat, doused in butter or coated with cheese — it
's no
easy feat.

be calorie restricted from time to time (a very good
thing) on a low carb, high
fat, modest protein diet.
Two
things that I try to avoid almost 100 %
are HFCS and trans
fats... because they
are easily two of the MOST evil food additives that cause the most damage from a biochemical standpoint internally in your body (keep that in mind when you
're about to eat or drink them, and it
's easy to say no).
It
's just too
easy to ride the cash tsunamis generated by «experts» like Dr. Oz and sell products that won't do a
thing to improve your fitness or boost muscle growth or
fat loss.
