As Fall is my
favorite season, I am looking forward to the
changing colors
of the leaves, the cooler weather and picking apples and pears from the farms nearby.
One thing I love about the
change of seasons, whether it's spring to summer or summer to fall, is that all my
favorite brands roll out fun new flavors and seasonal specialties!
Figs have long been my
favorite markers
of the
changing season, but here in Southern California, summer is technically just getting started with September temps being the hottest
of the year.
It is a three - way race for Rookie
of the Year but if its anything like last
season the betting
favorite will
change a few times throughout the
season.
The
changing of the leaves, going apple picking, and the cooler temperatures are some
of what makes fall our

Fall has always been my
favorite season: the days shorten, everyone comes in earlier for more time together, the food
changes to warmer, more comforting options, and the air simply becomes alive with the feeling
of festivities, with a crispness

season is
changing doesn't mean you have to break the bank and buy a completely new wardrobe, sometimes keeping it simple is best.

of my
favorite aspects
of leading monthly walks at Wave Hill, year - round, on the second Sunday
of every month, is seeing a place as beautiful as this
change through the
seasons — the way the light looks so different on the Palisades on a clear winter day, compared to a hazy summer afternoon; the way the diverse plants
of Wave Hill's gardens and forests reflect the
seasons in their shifting buds, leaves, flowers, fruit, seeds or bare stems.
Even though it was the holiday
season — clearly her
favorite time
of year — I told her the
changes had to be implemented by New Year's Day, and I was strict with a deadline.
This is one
of favorite and cheap ways to
change the outside
of our home every
season.
One

favorite and FREE ways to decorate for the
changing seasons is with fresh clippings.
