Getting in people's faces during everyone's
favorite holiday does not seem like the best approach.

Starting off with my
favorite holiday of the year, Halloween is one of the most mindless
holiday marketing months and I am not talking about zombies; though when I read some of these Facebook pages it makes me wish I was one... What I mean is that it's relatively easy to research and find quality content that can be used to boost interest in your cause, so why not
do something more ghoulish?
We
do things like take organization - wide coffee breaks where we ask staff to go buy a coffee and ponder a specific question; we hold online book clubs and create communities of shared interests that range from using data tools to vegetarian cooking to working parents; around the
holidays we host regional
holiday parties and virtual «Holi - DJ» listening parties, where team members swap playlists of their
favorite music.
Even though Halloween is one of my
favorite holidays, I don't crazy with decorations and treats.
But
do you have a recipe for my very
favorite holiday condiment: cranberry sauce?
I don't think my family has a mutual
favorite dish for the
holidays.
Do you have any
favorite recipes you make to celebrate the
holiday?
Not only is fall my
favorite holiday, but it now has an even special meaning as 2 farm families become 1 and whether we are in the field or not, we stop what we are
doing and celebrate.
I love it when I don't have to use the oven so these will become a
favorite of mine I imagine and how easy to fix a batch or two for food gifts to be give to friends for the
holidays.

favorite recipe but because you didn't even know it existed before the
holidays... and now you have it in your possession... i think this is what i love about food the most: it's connection to people not only from one generation to the next, but to all cultures as well... the era, «before babies» and «after babies», what was happening in lives, etc., it's exactly the story behind the recipe itself... and now your children will pass it along to their children, telling the story about how you didn't even know it existed but it's a family

As you might imagine, I didn't grow up celebrating Thanksgiving, but it has now become one of my
favorite holidays.
