For best flavor and texture, seek out a
salsa that is available in the refrigerated sections of your

jarred salsa found on grocers» shelves, which tends to have a «creamier» texture than freshly made.
I tear a few corn tortillas into quarters and toss them with shredded chicken, black beans, cumin - sautéed onions, a
jar of
salsa (another
favorite shortcut), and a good dollop of sour cream to make it all nice and creamy.
You can pick up a
jar of your
favorite tomatillo or
salsa verde.
I often throw in a
jar of my
favorite salsa instead of those two ingredients.
We don't use many pickled peppers, and we've already got many
jars of our
favorite tomatillo - based
salsa verde put up for the fall.

favorite crockpot meal is chicken breasts covered in a half
jar of your
favorite salsa, which is usually mango or pineapple at our house.
I've provided the recipe below, but it's basically just chicken breasts, a
jar of your
favorite salsa, and a packet of taco seasoning.
