This is a variation on Seeded
Multigrain Sourdough, one of my
favorite breads for its reliability and versatility.
Use a good quality
multigrain or sourdough
bread for best results, and don't hesitate to replace the vegetables and herbs with your
favorites, as
bread pudding is very forgiving.
Second
favorite, the sandwich
bread, both white and
multigrain.
And,
multigrain is my very
favorite breakfast
bread (well, except when I'm turning brioche or challah into French toast, of course).
Some of my
favorites include Trader Joe's soft
multigrain rustic
bread or Food 4 Life Baking Ezekiel
bread.
This version is a combo of all my
favorite sweet and savory ingredients (corn
bread +
multigrain bread + butternut squash + kale + cranberries + turkey sausage or mushrooms), and it might just be my
favorite yet.
