Grilled
vegetables and sausages over rice with spicy peanut sauce has quickly become one of my
favorite recipes to make in the
summer.
One of my
favorite treatments for
vegetables, besides the go - to roasting / steaming / sautéing, is marinating, which is especially good for
summer, since marinated
vegetables are at their best when cold.
Making
summer rolls is one of my
favorite ways to sneak in more
vegetables.
Of all the lovely produce that

Asparagus in
summer is my
FAVORITE vegetable, Michigan asparagus is in season early in May and I buy it weekly and grill it, takes about 5 minutes on the grill (I drizzle with olive oil and sea salt), its fantastic!
One of our
favorite summer meals is to grill barbecue chicken, served with a side of sweet potato fries and a green
vegetable or side salad.
