As I often do, I stopped at
my favorite Thrift Shop last week after getting my hair done.
This old dining room chair spoke to me as I wandered through
my favorite thrift shop.
It's
my favorite thrift shop for fun little vintage oddities.
I can't get to
my favorite thrift shop fast enough!
My «me time» moments lately have been quick trips to
my favorite thrift shops without the baby, or even just doing something I enjoy while he naps instead of working on my To Do list (which is not long right now, thankfully.)
If you live in the Twin Cities area, one of
my favorite thrift shops is the Salvation Army on 4th St in the North Loop.

After lunch, we went to my
favorite thrift store for a little prop
shopping.
With a price tag of 10 - 49 cents a piece, the
thrift shop is our
favorite place to pick them up (besides the library, of course).
Trust your baby will learn about the world if you expose them to the world — take them places that you enjoy (even if it's the yarn
shop, a
thrift store, or a walk in the woods), incorporate them into your everyday life (strap them on your body and go have your
favorite cup of coffee — even if you have to take it to go because baby just won't be content at the coffeeshop), and let them see and feel you be joyful.

I love my goddess skirt, not least because I found it at one of my
favorite NYC
thrift shops, Housing Works.
The coolest part about the
shopping experience is that you can save your
favorite brands to your profile, so if you only want to browse «skirts from J.Crew in size 6,» you don't have to waste time looking at everything else (again, the benefit of online vs. your neighborhood
thrift store).

favorite things in —
thrifting, coffee,
shopping and wandering the streets with bonnie and gaby.
But my
favorite has to be
thrift shopping.
I did plenty of
shopping and visiting some of my
favorite places to
shop like A&K Trading Co., H&M (being that there isn't one here in San Antonio), Value Village
Thrift Store (I bought so many colored blazers and winter stuff).
A few of my
favorite places to
shop: Ikea, Etsy, Scoutmob, Target, The Indie Arts and Vintage Market Place (happens every few months), and I love to hit up flea markets and my local
thrift stores on a regular basis.
Today I paired it with
thrifted J Crew tall boots (similar), an octopus pendant (sim) from the peerless Sheila, and my
favorite bracelet (sim) from Bella's Etsy
shop.
My problem is that I've always been a
thrift store junkie, and when I hit up the dollar rack at my
favorite shops as my «me time», I end up with all this stuff that I hardly wear!
Ooh, this dress was a great find and exactly why
thrift / consignment stores are my
favorite places to
shop!
I haven't shared any
thrift shop finds in quite a while, but I just found one of my
favorite finds ever and I just couldn't wait to share it with you.
Thrifting is one of my
favorite ways to
shop because I am saving money, being resourceful, and am going to be wearing a unique dress or outfit that more than likely, I won't spot on anyone else.
According to fashion history, designers in the 1940s, 50s, and 60s, thought they were pretty adorable too, making this trend a perfect one to
shop at your
favorite vintage,
thrift, or Etsy
shop.
