I reached out to the company to see if they'd let me try out one of their bags, and they sent me their Simone Satchel ($ 395) and Classic
Tote ($ 245)-- the latter of which is my new
favorite work bag for a handful of reasons.
Not only are they the perfect compliment to my
favorite Sophie Hulme rainbow stripe
tote, but I have found that they
work with so many outfits (including yesterday's plaid look)!
I think my GiGi New York clutch one of my
favorite bags to lug along with all my
work essentials because it is adorable, goes with everything and doesn't take up too much space (essential when you don't have a desk and carry around all the thing you need for the day in your
tote)!
One of my
favorite work hacks is to have an adorable clutch in my
tote bag, so I can easily go from the office to the bar.
I am saving to purchase a new
work tote and this is at the top of my
favorites list - been admiring it for abotu the same amount of time!
Today's blog post is all about colorful spring
work attire I wear on travel days and this outfit features some of my
favorite work essentials — my Tieks ballet flats, my Eloquii Kady pants, a cardigan and a roomy
tote (most of these items have been featured many times on SGSB!!)!
I brought out my sleeveless camel coat (similar here and here) and wore it with an Everlane top, Cameo skirt, Tibi Amber heels, and my
favorite work bag, the Michael Kors Miranda

In order to properly celebrate National Handbag Day which was yesterday (I'm a day late I know) I decided it was only fitting to pay homage to my
favorite bag of all time, my Large Louis Vuitton Neverfull
tote that was been through weekend trips, job interviews, internships, 4 years of college and now
working full time in Manhattan and this bag hasn't lost an ounce of charm or quality.
I've been gravitating towards simple pieces to form the foundation of my
work closet: pieces like black pants (these are actually black fleece pants — so comfy), a striped tee (such a good foundation for many outfit combos), black strappy heels (the heels are thicker so you can walk in them), a slouchy but structured classic black
tote (one of my
favorite bags to date!)
I decided to use my York
Tote as the bag pictured, because it is my absolute
favorite bag for
work.
