Another Dragon Age: Inquisition - style update: it looks like the class system from previous games has been removed in
favour of a skill tree that Ryder can customise through the game.
Not exact matches
While the two do have unique
skill trees, they are essentially mirrors
of each other; the male Captain Luceus wields flame - based attacks and
favours a cool, thought - out strategic approach, while the female Captain Aurora brandishes Ice and is hot - headed and impulsive.
Despite claims that Crimson Alliance is an action RPG, you can forget about finding deep character customisation,
skill trees, character developement
of practically all the hallmarks
of an RPG in the game, instead it chooses to focus heavily on the «action» part
of its description,
favouring hitting varying enemies with swords.
Unfortunately, the mage
tree primarily supports one
of the weapon styles as you won't ever have enough resources to just cast spells, and so the game really
favours exploring at least two
of the
skill trees.
