Indie authors are an important part of the Goodreads community and there are several ways authors can engage with
readers on Goodreads

for book purchasing.
Scholastic's teacher - favorited ereading app Storia, designed
for use on tablets, PCs, mobile devices, and more, contains thousands of titles
for readers of all ages, but now will
feature something that is sure to earn even greater teacher approval: non-fiction titles from UK - based publisher Arcturus.
Here are three
features that Amazon could bring to the marketplace that might make a used electronic marketplace into
something that benefits
readers and scholars
for generations to come.
Shakespeare's work
features some of the most memorable stories and characters ever created, yet
for too many curious
readers the combination of ultra-dense dialogue and unfamiliar historical settings make tackling the Bard's work
something between a tedious chore and a confusing mess of bird - bolts and quondam carpet - mongers.
A hands on of the Entourage Edge left us hesitant about whether there's actually a market
for something that has the price tag of a good netbook and barely more
features than most
readers:
Until other companies like Sony and B&N and PocketBook release
something new with better
features — a touchscreen, color, open software — the Kindle 3 / Kindle WiFi is hands - down the best value
for an ebook
reader.
It is likely that touchscreens will eventually become one of the standard ebook
reader features, but
for now it is
something that not all devices have.
