Changing my diet to a diet of all natural organic whole
foods, high in healthy fats (olive oil, avocados, wild caught salmon, nuts), devoid of any
grains (main source of carbs is veggies and sweet potatoes) and 100 % grass
fed,
free - range chicken / red meat (perferably organ meat) turned my life around.
Whole
foods such as fruits and vegetables, and some preferably organic, dairy, also preferably organic, whole
grains, wild caught fish (which are
free of harmful chemicals), organic or grass
feed meat (which are
free of hormones and antibiotics), organic poultry, legumes, nuts, seeds, unrefined sweeteners (like raw honey and maple syrup), whole
grains (like brown rice, 100 % whole wheat bread and whole wheat pasta).
My cooking style focuses on the therapeutic angle emphasizing traditional
grain free foods, full of nutrient dense staples like grass
fed butter, liver and bone broth.

Some sources advise eating only lean cuts of meat,

fed beef since they contain higher levels of omega - 3 fats compared with

Feeding our furry friends their natural diet is very important, but if you are not able to prepare a raw diet for your cat or dog for a period of time, at least source pet
