The reason to put emphasis on grass -
fed butter is
based on the natural yellow color of the
butter itself.
You could also take a look at more of an animal -
based fat like grass -
fed tallow or pasteurized lard or, if you are not too sensitive to
butter, grass -
fed butter is a really good option.
Today I used toasted Dandelion root tea as my
basis, and if you don't mind the slight bitterness, the toastiness mixed with the grass

I have no idea why anybody is still debating this... I use grass -
fed butter on a daily
basis, but I would NEVER even touch margarine... not even the so - called «healthy» margarines, which usually still contain inflammatory soybean or corn oils.
Based on what the current data shows, I will continue to recommend consuming coconut oil (organic, virgin or extra virgin) and healthy saturated fats from
butter and animal products (pasture - raised and grass -
fed).
Getting enough of them on a daily
basis through grass
fed meats and
butter, wild fish, nuts, seeds, spirulina, avocados and healthy oils as well as in supplement form may save your life if you ever have a TBI.
The concerns are two-fold: dogs
fed these specialty peanut
butter or nut -
based spreads as a straight treat, or dogs consuming treats made with these products.
