Although we do use grass -
fed butter on occasion, ghee is a staple in our kitchen.
I have no idea why anybody is still debating this... I use grass -
fed butter on a daily basis, but I would NEVER even touch margarine... not even the so - called «healthy» margarines, which usually still contain inflammatory soybean or corn oils.
Then go ahead put some grass -
fed butter on your tongue right?
Uhm — We do recommend grass -
fed butter on there because of the Conjugated Linoleic Acid, the fat - soluble nutrients, Vitamin A, Vitamin E. Uh — You got Choline in there, all kinds of powerful nutrients for the body.
In my typical gluttonous - whale fashion, I like to slather like 9 tablespoons (hardly an exaggeration) of salted grass -
fed butter on a warm slice of this banana bread.
Add more bacon and chives and / or a bit more grass
fed butter on top while warm... mind blowing!!!

fed butter, in particular, is an excellent source of the fatty acid butyrate and Vitamin K2, both of which can have powerful positive effects
on health (22, 23).
And if you can get your hands
on raw, grass -
fed cream locally, then you are going to be very pleasantly surprised at your ability to make such fresh
butter available in your very own kitchen!
After all, regular grass -
fed butter is cheaper (at least in my area) and I like
butter on almost anything.
The reason to put emphasis
on grass -
fed butter is based
on the natural yellow color of the
butter itself.
My cooking style focuses
on the therapeutic angle emphasizing traditional grain free foods, full of nutrient dense staples like grass
fed butter, liver and bone broth.
You just heat grass
fed butter in a pan, when its melted put a handful of corn per person in and put the lid
on tossing until poped.
Top with herbs
on both and you may want to include a small sweet potato with grass -
fed butter and cinnamon
on top.
I'm a combination of «classic with a twist» and «just
feed me» - love adding peanut
butter, maple syrup and fruit
on top - yum!
E.g. Steel cut oats with nut
butter / nuts, almond milk or grass -
fed milk, fruit, chia seeds and a raw honey / real maple syrup with a hard - boiled egg
on the side.
Eat a complete protein for breakfast (animal sources: eggs, meat, raw or grass -
fed dairy, fish or a combo of two incomplete proteins like rice and beans, nut
butter on toast, etc..)
Load up
on healthy fat sources like coconut products, avocados, grass -
fed butter and olives and olive oil.
Lightly steam these and top with plenty of grass -
fed butter (another great source of trace minerals, more
on that in a moment).
You may be well - versed
on the benefits of grass -
fed beef, but have you considered grass -

The banana cinnamon flavor is really tasty and my family thoroughly enjoys it with some grass -
fed butter melted
on it.
Truly though, if you choose a fat like coconut oil or even
butter made from grass -
fed cows (like Kerrygolds) you'll have a healthier snack
on hand!

To add in more anti-oxidants, consider putting 1 tsp of ground cinnamon in the recipe or sprinkling it
on top of a coconut oil or grass -

on the bread.
From a food and nutritional perspective, one could have steamed Brussel sprouts with grass -

on top.

on bread, not a spoonful at a time.
Formula -
fed babies have pasty, peanut
butter - like poop
on the brown color spectrum: tan - brown, yellow - brown, or green - brown.
Their bowel movements will be more recurrent than during the phase when he was solely
fed on breast milk (and was passing fecal matter with peanut
butter uniformity).
I could
feed my baby peanut
butter on whole wheat right now??? I read the report here, but I couldn't trust that I was interpreting it correctly.
I had been
feeding my baby, up until about 11 months, according to a schedule based
on what I had read and heard: That potentially allergenic foods should be introduced to babies after other foods, with some such as peanut
butter being withheld until the age of 2 or even 3 years.
That's why I've learned to
feed my salty, snacky cravings in other ways — say, seaweed snacks, miso soup, or nut
butter on sliced pears, apples, or multigrain bread.
If you have some grass -
fed butter and cream around feel free to try the traditional version, but it's nice to have a dairy - optional version
on hand as well.
Especially for the first few months, focusing
on foods like homemade bone broths, soups, grass
fed meats, and healthy fats (
butter, coconut oil, tallow, ghee, etc) will help the body rebuild and reduce inflammation.
The main thing is that both WAPF and Paleo / Primal have taught real people to eat real food — the whole animal, the natural fats, the yellow
butter oil (found in clarified
butter from grass
fed animals), foods cooked at home, bone broth, fermented foods, the list goes
on and
on.
