CNN: Pizza magnate wins temporary ruling
on contraception coverage dispute The billionaire founder of Domino's Pizza has won a temporary court victory, with a
federal judge blocking enforcement of part of the
health care reform bill requiring most employers to provide a range of contraception and reproductive
health services.
In his most recent State of the State address, he listed several priorities, including

You may have noticed, however, that the Senate Finance Committee just voted for a
federal excise tax
on alcohol and «sugar - sweetened beverages» to help pay for President Obama's

But, given the host of competing problems — a deep economic recession, the urgent need for
health care reform, geopolitical instabilities in the Middle East and elsewhere, soaring
federal debt, and so
on — selling the electorate
on a set of fundamental changes in the way we consume and produce energy in the short run — and congressional appropriators
on making the large investments needed to bring these changes about in the long run — will be a tough task, even for Barack Obama and his newly appointed team of highly competent advisers, and a Congress that has given every indication that it will take up and give priority to climate legislation.

federal health care reform was enacted, Idaho was one of only a handful of states to guarantee access to
health insurance
on the individual market for all eligible individuals
on a continuous basis.
