Yesterday First Lady Michelle Obama, accompanied by Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack, released the final
federal nutrition
standards for school
meals, representing the first major overhaul of school food requirements in over 15 years.
There does seem to be an over-reliance on potatoes (and, thanks to the successful lobbying of potato growers, the new
federal school
meal standards won't prevent that practice from continuing), and the -LSB-...]
